Annapurna Base Camp (13 Days)

The Annapurna base camp trek is definately an experience you will never forget, and for all the right reasons!

Mt. Annapurna

Annapurna I (8091m/26,545 ft) is the 10th highest peak in the world and was the first 8000m peak to be climbed. The base camp itself is situated near Annapurna South, with a perfect view of Annapurna and Mount Fishtail. It is one of a group comprising some of the highest mountains in the Himalayas. The journey to Annapurna base camp is one of the most popular treks on Earth.

Peaks in the range include:-

  • The entire Annapurna range
  • Machhapuchhre (Fishtail)
  • As well as many other amazing and panoramic views

The Conservation area

The Annapurna conservation area is the principal protected area in the country and the trail leads you through an amazing eco system

There are many routes in the Annapurna region; however the Annapurna Base Camp trek is possibly the most attractive. The route offers majestic mountain views and also its rich biodiversity make it an essential destination for adventure and nature lovers. It boasts the largest Rhododendron forest in the world, and its challenging trail has remained unaffected by obtrusive human development. On this trail you will also gain an awareness of the ethnic Gurung and Magar people and their unique culture.

The Trek

Like any other trip in the Annapurna region, our trek also begins in Pokhara. The trek passes through cascading waterfalls, beautiful villages, terraced farmlands and lush rhododendron forests.

This is a well developed trail and therefore you will enjoy comfortable accommodation and the warm hospitality of local people.

As with all our tours we pride ourselves in our flexibility and can vary the itinerary to suit your wishes.

All this is in addition to the amazing mountain vistas en-route to the mighty Annapurna base camp.

Altogether it is the trip of a lifetime!
